Worth A Try!
This project started to emerge from my personal connection with Rugby—a sport that has always held a special place in my life. While I've undertaken various projects related to rugby in the past, I had never explored my own role within the sport until now. Through persistent experimentation, I began to uncover the power and significance behind these self-portraits which helped to boost my relationship with the sport.

During this project I encountered numerous challenges, from technical mishaps to equipment failures however using a blend of DIY techniques and alternative equipment, I navigated through these obstacles, ultimately transforming setbacks into opportunities for growth. In hindsight, I consider this project to be among my most impressive project to date. Despite its rocky beginnings, I emerged stronger and more refined for my love for both Rugby and Photography

Research proved to be a particularly demanding aspect with this project, especially considering my prior involvement in rugby-related projects. However, I pushed myself to delve deeper, seeking out new perspectives and insights to enrich my creative process.

The project's title, "Worth a TRY!", speaks to its experimental nature—a departure from my usual approach—and the unexpected success it yielded. For those unfamiliar with rugby terminology, a "TRY" holds significance within the game, making it a fitting metaphor for my exploration of self-portraiture within this sporting context.
